The official Joker movie URL is not one address. Warner Bros. holds the rights to both films, so the real pages live on Max, Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, YouTube Movies, and Google Play. Joker (2019) and Joker: Folie a Deux (2024) both stream on Max in the US, and both are sold or rented through the major digital stores.
Any site that offers a full Joker download for free is not an official source. Those pages carry malware, card skimmers, and fake players.
Where can you watch the Joker movies in the US?
Two kinds of services cover most viewers. Max holds the subscription rights. The digital stores handle rentals and purchases for people who do not want another monthly bill.
- Max (max.com): subscription streaming for both films.
- Prime Video (amazon.com): rent or buy, with an option to add Max.
- Apple TV (tv.apple.com): rent or buy, often in 4K HDR.
- Fandango at Home (fandango.com): rent or buy, the store formerly called Vudu.
- YouTube Movies and Google Play (youtube.com, play.google.com): rent or buy.
Availability moves. A film that sits on Max this month can leave next month, so check the service page before you pay.
What is the official Joker movie URL?
There is no single joker movie URL that covers every option. Each service runs its own page, and that page changes when a title leaves the catalog.
Warner Bros. studio pages
Warner Bros. keeps the studio pages at warnerbros.com. Those pages list the cast, runtime, rating, and a where-to-watch panel that points to licensed services. Use them as the reference point when you are not sure who holds the rights.
Service pages
Search the title inside the app you already pay for. In-app search beats a web search because it returns only titles the service can play for your account and region.
Joker (2019): streaming, rent, and buy
Joker opened in theaters on October 4, 2019. Todd Phillips directed, Joaquin Phoenix played Arthur Fleck, and the film runs 122 minutes with an R rating. It crossed $1 billion at the worldwide box office, the first R-rated film to reach that mark.
Subscription
Max is the home service in the US. The film has also spent time on Netflix and Hulu in past years, so a search result from an older article can point to a dead page.
Rent or buy
Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, YouTube, and Google Play all carry the film. Rentals run about $3 to $4 and a digital purchase runs about $10 to $15. Prices drop during store sales.
Joker: Folie a Deux (2024): where it streams
The sequel opened on October 4, 2024, with Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. It runs 138 minutes and carries an R rating. The film reached Max in December 2024 after its digital release.
Rentals and purchases sit on the same stores as the first film. If you want both, one month of Max covers the pair.
Are free Joker full movie pages safe?
No. Pages that host the full film without a license make money from ads, pop-ups, and data collection. Many of them install malware or push a fake player that asks for a card number.
- Pirate streams buffer, break, and vanish mid-view.
- Ad networks on those sites have served crypto scams and info-stealing downloads.
- Uploading or downloading a film without a license is copyright infringement in the US, and rights holders do send settlement letters.
If you found the page through a forum post or a shortened link, treat it as hostile.
How to confirm a Joker movie page is official
- Check the domain. Official pages sit on max.com, amazon.com, tv.apple.com, fandango.com, youtube.com, or play.google.com.
- Look for a studio credit line naming Warner Bros. Pictures.
- Confirm the runtime matches 122 minutes (2019) or 138 minutes (2024).
- Check the rating. Both films are R in the US.
- Ignore any page that asks for a card number before it shows a trailer.
FAQ
Is Joker on Netflix?
It depends on the region. Joker has appeared on Netflix in several countries and left again. In the US, Max is the steady home, so check the app or a tracker before you subscribe.
Can I watch Joker for free?
Only with a subscription you already pay for, or through a free trial that Max and some stores offer to new accounts. Public libraries are the other route, and many US libraries lend the DVD or Blu-ray at no cost.
Which Joker film should I watch first?
Start with Joker (2019). Folie a Deux opens with Arthur in Arkham and leans on events from the first film.
Is the Joker movie URL the same in every country?
No. Rights are sold market by market, so the UK, Canada, and Australia each get a different set of services. Search inside the app that serves your country.
What about the 2008 Dark Knight Joker?
That is a different film with a different rights holder. The Dark Knight (2008) stars Heath Ledger and streams on its own set of services, so do not mix the two pages.
